Memorial Day Weekend (May 24th & 25th) - 18th Annual Towa Arts & Crafts Show
Located at the Beautiful and Scenic Jemez Red Rocks this two day art show features over 100 native artist, artist demonstrations, native dances, and foods. There will also be a bread baking demonstration at the Walatowa Visitor Center. Come and meet the artist at this exciting two day event. 5th Annual Open Air Market-October 13th & 14th 2007
Visitors were able to shop over 50 vendors showcasing their artwork, take part in a traditional bread baking demonstration, and watch as the Walatowa Running Club and M. Yepa dance group preformed traditional dances.
Yahoo Internet Time Capsule Project
Multimedia submissions to the Yahoo! Time Capsule project were projected onto the canyon walls and sent into space via a digital laser light beam in Jemez Pueblo, N.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006. People from more than 200 countries contributed over 70,000 pictures, video, writing, art and sounds to the ongoing project. Throughout the evenings of Oct. 25-27, select submissions were displayed continuously on the canyon walls where the Jemez Nation has lived since the 13th century.
